St. Louis Cardinals outfielder and All-Star Matt Holliday has been absolutely on fire lately.

With a pair of hits in Sunday night's 4-2 loss to the Cincinnati Reds, Holliday extended his hitting streak to fourteen games, the longest such streak by any Cardinal this season.

During the streak, Holliday has raised his season batting average from .301 to .315.  He also has swatted two home runs, three doubles, and has knocked in 10 RBI's during the stretch that dates back to June 27.

For the season, Holliday has 14 home runs and 57 RBI's as he continues to produce in the three hole in manager Mike Matheny's batting order.
