So if general manager Les Snead wanted to add a top target for Bradford, he would likely have to do it through free agency to find immediate results.
There are some options available in free agency at the wide receiver position this offseason, though all would likely cost a pretty penny.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings likely won't be returning to the frozen tundra and will be a top option in free agency despite missing most of 2012. Jennings only caught 36 balls for 366 yards and four touchdowns.
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has yet to play with a top-flight quarterback and has put up a season where he scored 15 receiving touchdowns in 2010.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace is an intriguing option as well and couple with Chris Givens to give Sam Bradford two deep threats.
Finally, Wes Welker of the New England Patriots is a free agent as well and could combine with Danny Amendola to give the Rams to shifty wide receivers. That is, of course, if the Rams bring Amendola back as well.
So who should the Rams target in free agency to address the wide receiver position? One of the free agents mentioned above, or should the Rams save some money and look at the draft to find another weapon for Bradford? Vote now!
