St. Louis Blues look for 3-2 series lead over L.A. Kings

Just when you thought the St. Louis Blues had control of this series winning the first two games in St. Louis to go up 2-0, the Los Angeles Kings showed why they were defending Stanley Cup Champions and came back to win two games in Los Angeles to tie the series at two games a piece. A pivotal Game 5 lies ahead tonight at 8:00 CT in St. Louis as one team will be one win away from ending this captivating series.

After the first three games of the series was dominated by goal-tending, the offense was the story last game. The Blues jumped out to a quick 2-0 start in Game 4, but the Kings battled back and won 4-3 scoring two goals in the third period as Justin Williams scored the game winner. T.J. Oshie recorded his first career multi-goal game in the playoffs in the loss. That was a really tough to take for the Blues, however the series is still tied and headed back to St. Louis tonight and all of a sudden with a win tonight the Blues can get the momentum back.

How even has this series been? Not to mention this series is tied at 2-2, but all of the games have been decided by one goal including late game heroics by the Blues and comebacks by the Kings. The winner of this Game 5 could be well on their way to winning this series, however how crazy this series has been, you just never know how it will unfold, and that's what happens when there's a great series in playoff hockey.

After two tough losses in Los Angeles, this series is far from over but the Blues look to rebound and take a 3-2 series lead tonight in St. Louis as the Scottrade Center looks to get rocking.
